Intern- Finance
Vertiv, a global leader in network power solutions, seeks a Finance Intern at its Columbus, OH, location. The position reports to a finance leader and serves in a multi-disciplinary finance role providing analysis of plans and results, contributing to annual and monthly forecasting processes, modeling business outcomes, and providing business decision support, as well as other tasks critical to serving as a business partner to Vertiv operations. - Develop models that provide insight into future business performance and/or support decision-making by business leaders
- Adeptly utilize existing tools and applications to review and analyze business results that provide insights to business leaders
- Leverage business insights gained in review and analysis to improve business forecasting and the accuracy of business forecasts
- Participate in business plan development, including completion of budget models, based on market dynamics and strategic business plans
- Contribute to the reporting commitments of the finance function to its various stakeholders and internal customers
- Support the complete integrity of Vertiv financial information through vigilant accounting and reporting accuracy
- Review functional activities to identify continuous improvements to the business
- Support the broader mission of the finance and accounting function as needed
- Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other tasks as requested
