COVID-19 Data Manager

Bucks County Department of Health, is seeking a COVID-19 Data Manager to support COVID-19 contact tracing investigations. This is in tandem with state-wide efforts to increase testing, improve communication and implementation of isolation and quarantine. This will fortify efforts to control the pandemic within Pennsylvania.
The COVID-19 Data Manager plays a critical role in supporting contact tracing teams to ensure that information received from case investigations is entered into the appropriate database. The COVID-19 Data Manager will be responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing data collected for the COVID-19 Case Investigators. They will be responsible for ensuring that all data received from contact tracing is available for staff on the Surveillance and Investigation Team to utilize.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage all COVID-19 related data
  • Ensure data quality, including working with case investigators to ensure that necessary data is being collected
  • Ensure data is being correctly entered in state surveillance system
  • Regularly assess and clean data received to assure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of collected information
  • Assist in case investigation and contact tracing as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's  degree in public health, statistics, or data management field
  • “Making Contact: A Training for COVID-19 Contact Tracers” (ASTHO) completed by date of hire
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of health statistics
Salary and Benefits:

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and some evening and weekend hours, at the Bucks County Department of Health in Doylestown, PA. The position is grant funded for a minimum of one (1) year. Continuation of the position is dependent on sustained grant funding.

This position is hired through partner community organization. Individuals hired for this position will be employees of Concilio on placement at the Bucks County Department of Health.
