Research and Development – Personal Care Package Development Manager BS/MS

What will I do? 
Our R&D Engineers are constantly learning, growing, and improving. In this role, you would be expected to find new ways to innovate and develop within your area. We are also a highly collaborative company, so you will also need to provide technical direction to others. We typically assess your skills and qualifications, as well as your interests, and try to find a role that works best for you. 
This Personal Care Research & Development Packaging role includes both enhancing current innovations as well as upstream design and package technology development projects for the several brands within Personal Care which includes Old Spice, Secret, Gillette, Ivory, Olay, and Safeguard. Personal Care Packaging is focused on providing a superior consumer experience across Antiperspirants, Deodorants, and Body Wash. We have added Responsible Beauty as a focus to the package development work. Our goal is to develop and deliver a package that improves consumer lives through performance and being recyclable/reusable/better for the world. It is a highly integrative role, in which you identify and solve concurrently the needs of the consumer, the customer, manufacturing, design, formula, and financials. The packages and packaging organization are critical to creating compelling holistic propositions that delight the consumer and deliver the business objectives. P&G Personal Care’s record-breaking business growth and new brand expansions make this a fast paced, exciting time to join Personal Care Packaging with lots of challenges to solve in the coming years. 
Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role: 
If you want to join us, you will need: 
    * A BS or MS in engineering. We prefer Chemical, Mechanical or Packaging Engineer and Material Science.
We are also looking for someone who has: 
    * Packaging Expertise (for example, Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Decoration Technology, and etc.)
    * Project / ProgramManagement
    * Ability to learn and operate in database systems
    * Ability to work in small cross-functional teams and independently
    * Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening
    * Critical thinking, active listening and strong written and verbal communication skills
    * The ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment 
Having experience or knowledge in Sustainability is not required but preferred.
