Research Associate - Digital Pathology
The Center for Advanced Light Microscopy in the Genentech’s Research Pathology Department is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic temporary Research Associate. This position will be working in the digital pathology & image analysis group that supports both basic research and clinical development projects. Duties will include digital histologic slide scanning of routine hematoxylin and eosin stained slides, brightfield and fluorescently labeled immunohistochemistry slides, and special stained slides. The successful applicant will also be responsible for tracking study materials and projects as they pass between core laboratories, pathologists, and investigators. Additional job responsibilities may include becoming proficient in basic programming to help automate repeated tasks in the daily workflow.
