Are you looking for an unforgettable experience? The Volunteer Internship Programs at Farm Sanctuary’s New York and California locations provide individuals with unique opportunities to connect with farm animals, develop a community with like-minded colleagues, and acquire valuable knowledge of animal protection and non-profit operations. Over the last 30 years, interns have played an integral role in Farm Sanctuary’s efforts by enabling us to operate our shelters, conduct public educational programs, and initiate campaigns to end the suffering of farm animals. Apply today and you too can contribute to Farm Sanctuary’s life-saving work. Farm Sanctuary’s office based internships are available at our Watkins Glen, NY and Orland, CA sanctuaries as well as our Los Angeles, CA office. Available areas of focus include development, administration, human resources, photo/video, archive work and communications. In these roles, you will promote Farm Sanctuary to the public, handle responsibilities in business operations, and ensure organizational progress and efficiency. Internships are unpaid, but housing is provided for all sanctuary based interns, who live a vegan lifestyle for the duration of their internship. Housing is not available of Los Angeles office internships. Internships require 40 hour/5 day a week commitment for one to three months; please see our website for exact requirements for your desired position. All applicants must be 18 years or older and committed to Farm Sanctuary’s goals and programs. Intern space is limited; early application is recommended. Apply online at: http://www.farmsanctuary.org/get-involved/jobs-intern-volunteer/internships/
