Marketing Xtern
MARKETING INTERNSHIPS
The Indianapolis Tech Ecosystem seeks passionate students to work as Marketing Interns in the summer of 2021. In this role you will work alongside experienced marketers to actively contribute to meaningful projects and gain valuable experience. This is an opportunity to apply the knowledge you’ve learned in the classroom and develop the skills you’ll need for the next step in your career.
WORK AT A RAPIDLY-GROWING TECH COMPANY
The Xtern program places you with a high-growth tech company for a 10-week, full time, paid internship over the summer. Xtern finalists will interview with three-to-five potential tech companies for their internship virtually on November 12th & 13th, 2020.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in maintenance and editing of the company website
- Participate in marketing data projects, and other projects as assigned
- Design and assist in marketing activities and tasks including not limited to social media, website, webinars, etc. Work on content generation and editing.
- First-line responder to social media inquiries from outside customers. Respond and/or route questions and inquiries on all social media accounts.
- Assist with social media management/marketing and email marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, advertising, or similar
- Previous related experience building website and managing marketing/social media campaigns is a plus
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hardworking and dedicated
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
