Account Associate

If healthcare is your passion and client service is your jam, let's talk! Waterhouse Brands (Waterhouse) is seeking an up and coming account associate (AA) looking for growth opportunities within a fast-paced boutique marketing agency dedicated to building high-impact brands for mission-driven healthcare companies. Our secret sauce is our smart, seasoned mix of brand marketing, HR, design, and communications professionals who hail from some of the industry’s leading companies and agencies. We are dedicated to helping companies shape a purpose-based brand strategy, create high-performing corporate cultures, and build their reputation with all stakeholders.

About the Role:

As a junior support team member on a small number of Waterhouse accounts, you will work hand in hand with our account leads to strategize and execute strategic engagements, special initiatives, and multimedia communications. This role truly represents an “agency account lead” in training and you will have the ability to shape your role within a small, empowering work environment.

In this role you will learn how to:

  • Coach and collaborate with your colleagues, our consultants, and clients to deliver extraordinary work
  • Manage multifaceted projects from end-to-end
  • Bring to life a diverse spectrum of brand deliverables including print, video, and digital projects
  • Become an effective storyteller through data, visuals, words, and web
  • Think like a strategist, working directly with Waterhouse senior leaders to connect the dots between external and internal marketing, communications, and HR efforts

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Weekly account status reporting
  • Competitive and industry research
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Presentation development
  • Manage internal teams to move projects forward
  • Prepare project plans and timelines
  • Write and edit creative and content briefs
  • Ensure all deliverables finish on time and on budget

Criteria:
 
  • Relevant academic, internship, or work experience in a marketing, analytics, or digital role at an agency or company.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, science, or relevant field.
  • Demonstrated strategic storytelling ability as evidenced through writing samples.
