You will join our Environment & Health department
As our new Engineer 1, you will be part of our team delivering innovative, inspiring and sustainable solutions that set new standards and make a genuine difference to our customers, the environment and society as a whole.
 
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
·      Plan and design portions of projects of greater complexity, following design, construction and government standards, using design software and drawing tools.
·      Analyses survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, geologic data and other data to plan projects.
·      Make deductions from analyses as required to create design deliverables for review by a senior engineer.
·      Review work of others for conformance to Ramboll and Owner requirements.
·      Gather and records information to be used for writing specifications.
·      Review vendor drawings to assure compliance with specifications.
·      Prepare or present reports or analysis such as design calculations, field data results/conclusions and/or cost estimates.
·      Visit job sites to gain field experience, broaden background, and develop practical engineering skills.

·      Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or engineering technology engineering experience in the engineering/design field; or
·      An Associate Degree in engineering technology, science, math, architecture, computing, technical drafting, or other relevant technical curriculum and 6+ years of qualifying engineering experience working in the engineering/design field.
·      Proficiency in engineering fundamentals and in utilizing CAD(D) software/hardware and Microsoft Office.
·      Depending upon Business Unit and market requirements, successful completion of the EIT exam may be a prerequisite.
