OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
At General Mills, Finance is a strategic business partner, leading the creation of strategies that drive shareholder value and steward strong fiduciary responsibility. The function is integrated in all aspects of the General Mills business, and Finance leaders have the unique opportunity to build a career focused on either a technical, accounting-focused path or a broad, generalist finance path.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The General Mills Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a great way to start your career with a company that welcomes bigger, bolder thinking and allows for space to learn. The FLDP is designed to provide incoming analysts with a variety of roles and experiences, building skills in technical foundations, functional depth and business basics. FLDP analysts receive training to ensure a fast start and immediate impact. 

The FLDP allows candidates to demonstrate leadership, hone critical thinking skills and develop business context, all while experiencing a culture of belonging, where we strive for all employees to be valued, connected and empowered. Interns will experience a robust 10-week program leading business critical projects.  

Analysts & interns are typically based at General Mills’ World Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minn. 
After completing the FLDP, you will continue to build your career and take on roles of increasing accountability as a Senior Financial Analyst. While the majority of Finance roles are in Minneapolis, your post-FLDP career could take you to other General Mills facilities in North America or worldwide. QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates typically are pursuing a BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics  
Also, candidates typically have a strong academic record, with a 3.0 GPA or higher
