Videography & Photography Intern
JOB SUMMARY:
The Videography and Photography Intern makes an impact on children and families in need around the world by contributing to our storytelling, marketing, fundraising and reporting. The intern hired for this position will provide expertise and content creation primarily through videography and photography to include, but not limited to: short videos, video compilations, social media, email marketing, documentary style pieces, photo shoots involving adults and children, production of marketing material, etc. This position will also require copywriting and other multimedia responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Produces content from assigned videos and photo shoots to share our organization’s stories and opportunities to engage with our organization in creative ways across multiple platforms
- Conducts interviews and connects with people to find stories that can be shared on various platforms and in multiple mediums
- Develops content for diverse audiences to include media, businesses and churches.
- Analyzes successes and opportunities for growth in video production and dissemination of video through social media and email marketing
- Works well in a team setting and has the ability to collaborate on projects
- Thinks creatively and is highly motivated and organized
- Displays integrity as well as mature judgment aligned with the organization’s core beliefs and values
- Displays a positive attitude about and passion for the organization’s mission of providing Christ centered services to children and families in need
- Has knowledge of public relations best practices
- Able to work well independently and lead meetings when required
- Performs other duties as assigned
