Multimedia Content Production Intern
JOB SUMMARY:
The Multimedia Content Production Intern plays an essential role in finding and researching stories to share about our organization and producing them through primarily written content and occasionally utilizing photography, design and/or videography skills. Content to be created will include, but not limited to: feature stories, blurbs and short articles for our magazine, marketing emails, flyers, brochures, social media posts, website content, presentations and reports. We are especially looking for gifted writers who understand the value of every word, and who enjoy research, writing and working collaboratively as part of a team. This internship can be fulfilled remotely or potentially at our International Headquarters in Lakeland, FL. This position plays a vital role in sharing with various audiences the way God is working through FBCH + One More Child to change the lives of children and families in need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Produces written content for digital and print projects
- Conducts interviews and connect with people to find stories that can be shared on various platforms and in multiple mediums
- Develops messaging for diverse audiences to include media, businesses and churches
- Writes engaging content for various platforms to include blogs, social media, print publications and news releases
- Assists with written talking points and creative PowerPoint presentations
- Works well in a team setting and has the ability to collaborate on projects
- Thinks creatively and is highly motivated and organized
- Displays integrity as well as mature judgment aligned with the organization’s core beliefs and values
- Displays a positive attitude about and passion for the organization’s mission of providing Christ centered services to children and families in need
- Has knowledge of public relations best practices
- Able to work well independently and lead meetings when required
- Performs other duties as assigned
