Senior Tax Accountant
The Brems Group LLP is a locally owned CPA firm that provides advisory, tax and accounting services with the expertise of a large firm and the personal attention of a small firm. We are committed to building strong relationships with our clients and providing them with an elite level of professional services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for tax preparation and compliance, training and development of staff, tax research and advising clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex business and individual income tax returns
- Conduct tax research
- Advise clients on accounting, business, and tax issues
- Bookkeeping and account reconciliation
- Completion and oversight of other projects and duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related program
- CPA Certification or working towards certification
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting field
- Knowledge of current tax law
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
