Pharmacy Technician, Dispense
Smartscripts is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Dispense area

Position Overview
The Pharmacy Technician, Dispense position is responsible for dispensing patient medications safely and accurately along with optimizing machine performance for maximum quality outputs.
Position Responsibilities
- Replenish pharmacy robots with appropriate inventory by retrieving medications, changing canisters, and changing paper
- Use various programs to run reports and manage the efficiency of robots and completion of daily orders
- Troubleshoot issues with pharmacy robots/ workflow and escalate to the Fulfillment Supervisor when necessary
- Communicates with various team members and departments to ensure the job is completed accurately and efficiently
- Daily cleaning of robots
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Promote effective working relationships with team members to meet company objectives
- Maintains strict confidentiality according to HIPPA rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee. If a Technician Trainee must take exam within 6 months of hire date and become certified within one year of start date.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Some pharmacy or work experience in a healthcare environment
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Criminal background check and drug screen required
