Supply Chain Internship - Sourcing (Summer 2021 )

Intern with our Sourcing Group in Tinley Park, Illinois. 
The Sourcing Organization is the Commercial Authority within Panduit, focusing on securing the best raw materials and/or Services at the lowest possible total cost. The Sourcing Group works to implement Agreements that protect Panduit’s best interests from a Risk Management Perspective.  
Projects you will be working on include: 
Competitive Bidding:  

  • In support of an internal stakeholder, the intern will help build a Request for Quote document, secure bids from multiple Suppliers, and work internally to identify the best go-forward solution. 
Supplier Diversity & Business Continuity and Supplier Risk  

  • Intern will learn about data mining and subsequent analytics. The Intern will be responsible for building a master file, and coordination across the Panduit Supply base to manage files received, and follow-up (or potential escalation) for open issues.
