High School Ministry Director
About the Role:
As the Mason City High School School Campus Life Director, you will use your relational ministry skills to reach students that are far from God with the Good News. Responsibilities include delivering innovative and impactful weekly programming as well as building relationships and community among students. Qualified candidates will be relational oriented, capable of leading volunteers and staff, mission driven and innovative. We are looking for someone who has a track record of reaching lost teens, has strong relational skills and can manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

For nearly 75 years, YFC has been passionately communicating the truth of the gospel. YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.
The Greater Iowa YFC chapter covers 30 counties through Central and North Iowa, headquartered in Mason City, Iowa. Growing from a handful of students and a part time director, to a staff of 20 and over 150 volunteers, that serve over 1,200 students annually, we are committed to be a voice of hope in the lives of young people. Our focus as a movement is on multiplying fruitful and sustainable ministry across our region and around the world. We reach middle school, high school, pregnant and parenting, and incarcerated kids aged 12-19 through a variety of programs.
About Mason City
Mason City is the original ‘River City’ and has a storied history. Residents enjoy the quality of life in a small-town atmosphere while enjoying the amenities of cities much larger in size. Located in north central Iowa, it is the center of activity between Minneapolis and Des Moines. Mason City is the perfect mix of rural and city, with large parks, great schools, and a community that looks out for one another.
What You Bring:
Education
The ideal candidate for this position will likely have a bachelor’s degree. A ministry degree great bonus for this position, but not required.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have some experience in Youth Ministry, likely in full-time leadership position. Any time spent with lost kids is a plus
