Palace Acquire (PAQ) Professional Development Program

Are you interested in leveraging your business education to shape the future of the defense of our nation? Defending a nation is an expensive proposition. Skilled finance, accounting, and budgeting professionals enable the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to manage the resources necessary to maintain Air Force superiority in technology and capability. Financial Management (FM) professionals are strategic partners contributing a critical role in the Air Force.  FM Analysts provide financial services and decision support to deliver air, space and cyber capabilities for our nation.

The Air Force is providing opportunities for three year full-time paid professional development positions. Throughout your time in the Palace Acquire (PAQ) Developmental program, you will be working shoulder to shoulder with current AFRL FM employees on challenging and rewarding projects. You will make a real contribution to the mission of the United States Air Force (USAF) and gain invaluable real-world experience.
 
Upon successful completion of the PAQ program, you will be outplaced as a mid-level financial manager in the Air Force Civilian Workforce. A full-time PAQ intern offer includes a career development plan, competitive salary, annual non-competitive promotions while in the program, student loan repayment plan for undergraduate loans of $30K, tuition reimbursement up to $50K for Master’s degree and all the benefits Federal employees enjoy.

Requirements:
US Citizenship
Full-time student in their Senior year or Graduate student currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (Air Force will fund the clearance)
Positions available in the following locations:  Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton OH and Rome Labs, Rome, NY
