Digital Marketing Intern

Intern with Industrial Electrical Infrastructure (IEI) Digital Marketing Group in Tinley Park, IL 

The Digital Marketing Group creates marketing content strategies and delivers promotional marketing messages to consumers online with the intent of generating traffic and sales on the organization’s website. Leverages insights gained from web analytics to develop new marketing strategies and monitors results. Manages third party agencies to ensure execution of end-user activities. 

Projects You Will Be Working on Include, But Not Limited To:  
EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa—Regions) VeriSafe Demand Gen Initiative:  

  • Provide support in developing content, researching social media opportunities, and execution of marketing plan designed to communicate thought-leadership on Absence of Voltage Tester’s in EMEA (particularly VeriSafe AVT) 

Nurture Stream Optimization 

  • Building a digital content strategy by incorporating target personas and verticals  
  • Learn how to build engagement and performance reports 
  • Measure the success of a nurture program with the engagement and performance reports by providing recommended changes to content 

Adobe Analytics Reports 

  • Learn the basics of analytic reports for digital platforms to evaluate website and content performance.  
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations based on the findings in the reports for any content or user experience changes to the landing pages 

Campaign Lead Generation Reporting/Dashboard 

  • Exposure to campaign lead generation activities from capturing leads to exploring the result of the lead (project win/revenue) 
  • Developing knowledge on establish reporting or dashboard on campaign/lead activities 

Transform Key Pieces of Collateral for the best seller products 

  • Exposure to taking traditional marketing materials and transforming them into more digital focused medium.

  • Social Media/Social Media Marketing  
 
Preferred Skills / Academic Exposure:  

  • Oral & Written Communication Skills. 
  • Reporting & Presenting Information Skills. 
  • Applicants with Adobe Creative Suites knowledge would be preferred, but not required. 
  • Applicants with Marketo knowledge would be preferred, but not required.  
  • Applicants should possess a high level of attention to detail.  
  • Applicants should have experience with analytical skills.  
  • Applicants should have the ability to work independently. 
  • Applicants should have the ability to multitask, problem solve, prioritize and exercise critical thinking skills. 
  • Applicants should be outgoing, confident personality with ability establish rapport.
