Assistant Channel Manager

This position is responsible for growing DAP’s Sales and Margin in the E-Commerce Channel. Key responsibilities include promotional/pricing strategy, managing product catalogs, and consulting on Ecommerce challenges. This is a dynamic role that requires attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Product Catalog Management
Directly responsible for opening support tickets to solve issues with customers, input pricing, new item upload and existing item optimization and Brand Policing 3rd Party Sellers.
Special Projects
Directs and coordinates numerous projects during the year that ultimately drive sales and support the E-commerce Business. Projects include competitor benchmarks, forecasting, strategy creation and implementation and Product Line Reviews as needed
Promotions & Pricing Programs
Manages promotion and pricing programs working with the Manager, Channel Sales. Key programs include channel specific pricing, new and focus product promotions and manage channel conflict amongst customers
Reporting & Account Assignments
Develop, create sales reporting tools. Modify existing analytical tools for tracking price, POS, programming success and NPL’s for reporting that measure, correct and refine overall data. Work with NAM’s at assigned accounts to foster support internally and externally to provide DAP support and maximize sku listings and product depth.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing/Business is preferred
  • 0-2 years' experience
  
Specific skills/training/license/certification are needed to perform this position or operate equipment:
 
  • B2B Sales and/or E-commerce experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge in key aspects of E-Commerce (SEO, Paid Ads, Product Page Optimization, etc)
     • Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
     •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ERP Systems (SAP, Business Objects, etc.)
     •  Ability to utilize data and analytics to make informed business decisions
     •   Strong attention to detail; strong multi-tasking ability as well as ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
     • Excellent communication skills, including experience creating and presenting business proposals
     • Enjoys working hard and is full of energy, steadfastly pushing self and other for results. Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully and is consistently a top performer.
