DAP is hiring for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to work on the Brand Team in our Baltimore, MD corporate office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn more about branding, specifically in areas of social media content development/management, ecommerce support, web content enhancement, influencer marketing, and more! 
 
Position Responsibilities 
  1. Social Media Content Development
  2. Create and curate relevant original content for social media, blogs, and other outlets to increase engagement, and expand audience. 
  3. Coordinate with other teams to develop content (e.g. for events, product releases, and project tips) for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  4. Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience.
  5. Lead efforts around identifying appropriate UGC (user generated content) and proper tools to do so.
  6. Utilize UGC to create content for DAP social media channels.
  7. Stay current on all social media trends and best practices to engage with users and create relevant content.
  8. Maintain and continually develop content calendar that aligns with knowledge of audience and industry trends.
  9. Ensure timely and effective execution of social media tactics and programs.
  10. Use social media management tool to schedule out content based on determined strategy and content calendar.
  11. Assist with evolving content strategy as trends and products change to align with overall brand message.
  12. Social Media Community Management
  13. Assist with monitoring social media management tool and conduct research on new technology that could improve team performance.
  14. Monitor all activities within the community and interact with end users.
  15. Communicate with cross functional teams to appropriately address user concerns.
  16. Assist with monitoring KPIs and sharing reports.
  17. Co-lead collaboration to determine topics, keywords, and query parameters for setting up and maintaining social listening tool.
  18. Take initiative on refinement of query parameter setup to ensure accurate and insightful mention analysis is available to report on by the end of the reporting period.
  19. Use social listening tool to monitor online conversations.
  20. eCommerce Support
  21. Drive relevancy conversions and promotion sales for Amazon and other key retailers.
  22. Provide support for development of Amazon product pages.
  23. Lead evolution of A plus and rich content on retailer product pages.
  24. Support specific retailer requests related to retailer website enhancement and assets needed.
  25. Assist with retailer ad development creation and media in support of individual site PPC and event promotions.
  26. Web Content Enhancement
  27. Oversee website content to ensure all copy and media is up to date, consistent, and relevant so that it aligns with the DAP brand.
  28. Create and edit content that is augmented for search engine optimization (SEO) and contains sufficient keyword placement.
  29. Monitor SEO and user engagement to suggest and implement content improvements.
  30. Manage development of new pages that align with product launches and need for additional web support throughout commercialization process.
  31. Continually develop and refine resources available to the end user so that they align with overall content strategy.
  32. PIM Content Management
  33. Maintain product data by monitoring inbound connectors and data enhancement from other users.
  34. Consistently review data for completeness and correctness so that it aligns with brand standards.
  35. Ensure digital assets are updated in a timely manner to align with brand updates.
  36. Work with internal teams to ensure data is consistent across all outbound channels, i.e. retailer connectors and content store.
  37. Lead development of unique content stores for specific retailer requests.
  38. Communicate with outside teams to troubleshoot bugs and implement timely solutions.
  39. Influencer Marketing
  40. Assist with managing relationships with brand influencers/advocates.
  41. Conduct research to identify appropriate partnerships across various audiences.
  42. Assist with activating partnerships and developing content creation plan.
  43. Communicate with influencers to ensure timely and appropriate execution of deliverables.
  44. Reporting and Administrative Duties
 
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience
  • Proven work experience with content creation across multiple channels, social media management, website and data management
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and social media management tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch), content management systems (Umbraco, Sitecore, WordPress), and PIM (Product Information Management) systems (Syndigo, inRiver, Salsify)
  • Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Superb project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
