Clinical Research Scientist (Social Work)

The Ph.D level Clinical Research Scientist (Social Work) at the Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress (CCFTS) will support leadership through a research agenda and projects focused on individuals, children, and families. This published Ph.D Social Work Researcher will focus on traumatic stress, impact of race, mental health disparities within a multicultural context, and the promotion of social justice. The incumbent will work with federal and state grant funded research/projects and be a part of the department’s clinical practice with communities of color or other minorities. In coordination with the Vice President, Research Director, and key CCFTS leadership this position will assist with research direction. The Clinical Research Scientist may also have administrative and clinical care duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:
Must possess a Ph.D. in Social Work with an emphasis on data, evaluation, and research.
EXPERIENCE:
 Must have demonstrated an active portfolio of funded research and leadership in the field.
 Must have at least five (5) years’ experience conducting research and publishing in a peer
reviewed journal.
 Must have at least one year of Supervisory or Management experience.
