Investment Analyst
TRS is seeking highly motivated candidates interested in developing a long-term career in asset management. Our investment team manages over $54 billion in assets across multiple asset classes including public equity, global fixed income, private equity, real estate/real assets, and hedge funds. Analysts within the program will have the opportunity to work extensively with internal and external investment professionals across these classes, as well as assist on other investment research initiatives.
Analysts will work with TRS’s investment team on the following responsibilities:
- research on the System’s existing asset allocation and specific asset class structures, with a focus on optimizing the portfolio’s risk/return profile;
- assist Investment Officers and TRS leadership on the due diligence of prospective investment managers, as well as monitoring the portfolios and performance of existing relationships;
- work with investment and risk teams to analyze investment portfolio performance, attribution and risk reports; and
- evaluate markets and industry trends to provide relevant observations to investment team.
