Digital Business Intern

Intern with the Customer Experience Digital Marketing Group in Tinley Park, IL 

Digital Marketing intern will play an important role in communication and change for the projects in the Digital Business area. The Digital Business team creates compelling, engaging, and interactive digital content that targets our b2b buyers across our digital/mobile and social channels. Overall, you’ll have the opportunity to become one of our digital team contributing to the success and top placement in our b2b marketplace. This person’s responsibility is to focus on all changes to systems, business processes, and technology, organization structures and job roles. This individual creates and implements change management plans and strategies that maximize employee engagement and minimize employee resistance. The intern adopts, utilizes and attains proficiency on all changes affecting employees in the company to achieve business results. It will also cover the communications that accompany the change 

Projects You Will Be Working on Include, But Not Limited To:  
Support QA Testing Efforts 

  • Provide quality assurance and quality testing  
  • Understand and aid in the website performance  

Support the data syndication efforts 

  • Panduit supplies product information to several distributors through multiple channels. We want to build documentation for the process.  
  • Assist in activities for adding pricing information. 

Product Information Management Platform and activities 

  • Understand importance of digital assets in digital environments 
  • Provide insight on business go-to-market strategies 
  • Support Digital Product Management relations  
  • Search Engine Optimization and Search activities 
  • Assist in asset rendering (CGI) and 3D animation process 

Analytics Activity support as directed by Analytics team. 

Digital User Experience Design & Development  

  • Understand core tenets of digital user experience, design and development  
Preferred Major

  • Digital Marketing  
  • Website Production/Management 
  • Data Analytics  
 
Preferred Skills / Academic Exposure:   

  • Oral & Written Communication Skills. 
  • Reporting & Presenting Information Skills. 
  • Applicants with Website Platform knowledge would be preferred, but not required. 
  • Applicants should possess a high level of attention to detail.  
  • Applicants should have experience with analytical skills.  
  • Applicants should have the ability to work independently. 
  • Applicants should have the ability to multitask, problem solve, prioritize and exercise critical thinking skills.  
  • Applicants should be outgoing, confident personality with ability to establish rapport.
