Corporate Marketing Intern (Summer 2021)

Intern with the Corporate Marketing Group in Tinley Park, IL

The Corporate Marketing Group within Panduit acts as a strategic partner to the IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) and Theater marketing teams, as well as the larger organization, by developing creative marketing communications assets in all forms. 

 Corporate Marketing also collaborates with other Marketing teams by managing key marketing platforms (such as project management, collateral inventory, translation, social monitoring, public relations, webinar and other platforms.) 

Corporate Marketing also is responsible for the global Brand strategy, positioning, identity, style, and external marketing communications messaging, including the development of key creative assets that promote Panduit’s brand awareness and thought leadership within our target industries and among our key stakeholder segments. 

This position requires outstanding communication and computer skills. Candidate must be self-motivated, mature, decisive, and possess an exceptionally strong attention to detail. The ability to communicate persuasively orally and in writing is vital. Familiarity with creating content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Experience with Microsoft applications, basic video-editing software, Photoshop, and InDesign a plus​

Projects You Will Be Working on, Include, But Not Limited To:  
Support Brand Marketing Campaign Execution: 

  • Manage and monitor social channels for trending news, ideas, and sharing of relevant findings 
  • Develop, produce, and post social media content to all channels  
  • Produce content for brand campaign elements  
  • Assist in reporting of analytics in relation to brand campaign programs 
  • Identify best practices of B2B social media management  

Digital Asset Manager (DAM)  

  • Standardize digital assets through improved naming and organizational conventions  
  • Administer good management practices with DAM platform  

Preferred Major

  • Marketing

  • Business Management/Business Administration   

Preferred Skills / Academic Exposure:   

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Reporting and presenting information skills. 
  • Applicant should be able to demonstrate marketing analytics skills and speak to how their analysis(ses) can improve the outcome of a project. 
  • Applicants should provide creativity insight on both social media and writing content.  
  • Applicants should have knowledge of project management skills.  
  • Applicants should have the ability to work independently, with attention to detail.  
  • Applicants should have the ability to multitask, problem solve, prioritize, and exercise critical thinking skills.  
  • Applicants should have a basic knowledge of SEO and its importance when creating web content. 
  • Applicants should be have the ability to easily establish rapport with a diverse group of employees representing a variety of managerial and leadership roles.
