Sophomore Summer Internship – Rotational
RMB Capital Management, LLC is a Chicago-based investment advisory firm with approximately $9 billion in assets under management. We are currently seeking a summer intern to join our sophomore rotational program in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working team player who wants to make an impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
We are committed to having a meaningful internship, however due to the ongoing pandemic the program may either be virtual or in person.
As an intern at RMB, you will participate in an all-encompassing rotational program which includes time spent in Asset Management and Wealth Management. Additionally, you will learn about our Business Operations group which includes Marketing, Finance, Compliance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations.
Over the course of nine weeks (June 2021 - August 2021) you will be fully integrated into the team and culture at RMB. Our paid internship program provides a dedicated mentor, the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the growth of the firm, exciting social events, and time with our leadership team. Interns that demonstrate strength in our core values—authenticity, excellence, rigor, solutions, and results—may be invited back the following year for a second internship.
Requirements:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, economics, or related field as a sophomore
- Interest in financial markets and economy
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain organized and detail oriented while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks, and to work both independently and collaboratively
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn specialized systems and software quickly
- Previous work experience is preferred
- Cover letter is required
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
