Junior Summer Internship – Institutional Client Service
RMB Capital Management, LLC is a Chicago-based investment advisory firm with approximately $9 billion in assets under management. We are currently seeking a summer intern to join our Chicago Institutional Client Service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working team player who wants to make an impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
We are committed to having a meaningful internship, however due to the ongoing pandemic the program may either be virtual or in person.
Areas of Focus:
- Work closely with senior members to build out and deliver a sales funnel
- Leverage Salesforce and other databases to profile and target new prospects
- Compile research for marketing pitch books
- Participate in sales meetings
- Work on special projects
- Work in a team environment
Requirements:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, marketing, accounting, finance, economics or related field as a junior
- Strong desire for a career at independent investment management firm
- Interest in financial markets and economy
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain organized and detail oriented while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks, and to work both independently and collaboratively
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and the ability to quickly learn specialized systems and software
- Prior internship or office experience preferred
- Cover letter is required
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
