Supply Chain Internship
Intern with our Global Supply Chain Group in Tinley Park, Illinois.
The purpose of Demand Planning is to interface machine logic and current global trends to support/create a statistically accurate near term and far ranging demand planning horizon.
The resulting demand forecast becomes the basis for planning raw material and production for our global portfolio of manufacturing facilities.
Demand Planning Internship Projects:
Automate and enhance the Daily Outlier Report
- The student will work on many Demand Planning KPI’s:
- Customer/Global demand forecasts
- Available to fill
- Demand shaping
- Trends and global impacts
- Demand forecasting to promote streamlined manufacture
New Product Introductions (NPI) into Oracle and Demantra Planning System
- Work with cross functional teams
- Demonstrate system theory
- Test hypothetical applications
- Develop, actualize and track process flow
- Summarize/communicate accomplishments

Preferred Major(s): Supply Chain, Business, Statistics Or Related Major

Preferred Skills / Academic Exposure:
- Oral & Written Communication Skills.

- Applicants should have experience with Microsoft Excel
- Applicants should have the ability to work independently
