Overview
The Payroll Assistant is responsible for assisting with duties and tasks associated with payroll.
Responsibilities
  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • Updates employees’ records by entering changes in earnings, deductions, address, direct deposit, and work location
  • Prepares payroll related reports for Finance and HR department
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Adheres to all company policies and mandatory compliance protocols as required by eCW
  • 1+ year payroll experience required or BA in Human Resources Management and desire to work in HR/Payroll
  • Be able to work in Westborough, MA office every day
Other Skills/Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • UltiPro experience preferred
  • Team player attitude
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Sound data entry skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Must be customer service oriented and take ownership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Sound analytical and problem – solving skills
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools
