Meridian Compensation Partners LLC (www.meridiancp.com) is one of the largest independent executive compensation consulting firms. We provide expert counsel to boards and management at hundreds of large-cap and mid-cap companies on a wide range of executive compensation and corporate governance issues. Your primary role is to assist our consultants in providing advice to boards (and senior management) in making informed business judgments regarding executive pay and governance matters.

Position Description – Executive Compensation Summer Associate

As a paid Summer Associate in our executive compensation practice, you will work directly with our client teams who advise boards of directors and executives of public and private companies on executive compensation and corporate governance matters. Responsibilities include (i) analyzing executive compensation and financial data primarily for Russell 3000 companies, (ii) reviewing public filings on key corporate governance practices as part of an annual flagship survey for S&P 500 companies, (iii) modeling alternative approaches for designing compensation that best aligns incentives with an individual company’s overall corporate strategy, and (iv) assisting in the development of client materials.

By working with our partners, consultants and clients, interns will be provided an opportunity to enhance a broad range of skills including technical (e.g., finance, tax, accounting), analytical (i.e., financial modeling) and interpersonal (e.g., written, presentation), all applicable to careers in professional services.

Education and experience requirements:

Pursuit of undergraduate degree, preferably with concentration in finance, accounting, general business or economics.
