Digital Marketing Associate

Consumer marketing is an important part of Tillable’s marketing strategy. As the company scales, cost-effective and optimized use of various channels, as well as diligent reporting and analysis to inform changes, are becoming more and more essential. This role will be focused 100% on customer acquisition and retention in the interest of helping us spend, execute and measure smarter and faster.

We’re looking for a knowledgeable and growth-minded Digital Marketing Systems Specialist who is proficient in managing consumer lead generation initiatives and the tools necessary to generate consistent inbound lead traffic and dynamic customer outbound communications. The ideal team member will utilize the company’s Marketing Automation Tool (Pardot) and CRM System (Salesforce) as well as a myriad of data augmentation, testing and tracking solutions to their fullest potential, optimizing the features available and maintaining industry best practices.

What you'd be responsible for:

  • Campaign support and optimization: execute on growth marketing initiatives across all organic and paid channels to help Tillable effectively execute existing and emerging tactics. With guidance from our Growth Marketing Lead, you’ll manage and test the building blocks of our campaigns, product launches, and customer communications.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Support marketing campaigns with the daily execution of digital deliverables (emails, landing pages, forms, custom redirects). Manage and test the building blocks of our campaigns, product launches, and customer communications, getting ad creative when needed and recommending tweaks to targets to significantly improve cost per lead, cost per acquired lease and lead quality; reporting regularly with performance so we can decide what to do next. 
  • User focused, data driven scale: In close partnership with Sales and Farm Operations, utilize user data and insights to develop a deep understanding of Tillable’s audience, customer journey, and acquisition funnel, to identify emerging opportunities for growth. 
  • Tool Management: Use our key marketing platforms (Pardot, Wordpress, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn) to achieve marketing objectives process improvements. Be the go-to person to translate sales and marketing goals into KPIs and track through our marketing automation system (Pardot) and CRM (Salesforce). 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a consumer marketing or related marketing position.
  • Technical acumen—experience with Pardot, WordPress, Facebook and Google, other ad platforms/exchanges, programmatic advertising, content management systems, attribution tools, lead routing, marketing automation campaigns. Basic HTML, CSS, etc. is a plus!
  • Hands-on experience— 2+ Years of experience in a digital marketing or related position using a marketing automation platform to engage your audience (ideally Pardot). 
  • Basic Social Media and HTML Skills - Comfortable creating assets without hand holding. You are familiar enough with HTML to tweak email templates-and you know what to request when you need resources for a bigger tweak. Bonus points if some of that familiarity is in B2C marketing; triple bonus points if familiarity is in the SaaS world.
  • Collaboration—ability to work across departments and with external partners, building consensus and delivering results. 
  • Flexibility & creativity—ability to execute quickly with high-quality while handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment requiring project prioritization.
  • Passion—stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing and problem solving. When something’s not working, your inclination is to dig in a sleuth toward a solution.
