FreightPros: Account Coordinator

As an Account Coordinator, you would be responsible for supporting the Sales team by performing operational duties such as quoting, troubleshooting problem shipments by interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders including customers, carriers and internal team members. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position that requires responding to 80+ quote requests every day. Attention to detail is a must! Our ideal candidate is one who can be flexible in the work environment, adapt well to change, and be creative and proactive

Day to day:
  • Quickly and accurately quoting customers and NTG sales team who reach out to FreightPros to request LTL quotes
  • Learn the ins and outs of the freight shipping industry and become familiar with the differentials between each carrier, customer and team member you work with.  
  • Serve as liaison between Sales and Operations teams at FreightPros and Nolan Transportation Group.
  • Troubleshoot and solve customer issues in order to provide the best customer service experience possible
  • Educate both team members and customers on what is needed to obtain an accurate LTL quote.
  • Be an integral part of our close-knit, supportive team. You should be familiar with our core values and be ready to contribute ideas that help further engrain them in our processes. We love creative thinkers!

What we look for: 
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service or administrative role 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 
  • Ability to calculate basic mathematical functions such as discounts, margins, commissions and percentages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess organizational skills in a detail-oriented setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Competitive nature with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to multi-task in a results-driven environment
  • MS Office skills and related computer knowledge
  • Experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce.com, a plus
