OpptIn is creating a safer, quicker, on-line world for everyone. Through our proximity-based technology we can turn any business or place into the infrastructure for its own personal and encrypted network. We aim to create a secure, simple way for people to network, find potential jobs, improve school efficiency, and even provide quicker access to life-saving medical test results.
We are offering remote internship opportunities for students with experience in various areas. Any schedule works, but must be able to attend meetings that are given adequate notice for.
If an intern wishes to extend their term of involvement with OpptIn in order to acquire more experience, that may be possible upon their performance review.

General Responsibilities
- Attend regular meetings with team members, whether online or in-person
- Complete all tasks assigned to you on time
- Be able to work in a group with others
- Update the rest of the team on your progress via discord
- Be open to sharing your ideas with the rest of the team
Preferred Skills:
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Learning objectives : Students will learn and utilize their knowledge of recruitment and work alongside with OpptIn's teams to accomplish their recruiting goals
• Supervisor title : All teams are reported to the CEO
• Training the intern will receive : Objective guidance will be provided by the CEO and/or senior members
• Hours per week : Most of our members work full-time while others work part-time, but we're flexible and will work with everyone's schedules to align with the company's goals. Students can be expected to work up to 20 hours/week or less if needed. Additional hours may be possible upon discussion
We're offering equity positions and internships to people whose jobs and internships have been affected by COVID-19. This position is for Fall and Spring 2021. Everyone is expected to report to their Team Lead and all teams report to CEO - all meetings are through Zoom and we're following the Agile approach
We have been working on our demonstration over a year and in that time there have been many students who have successfully completed their internships. We have recently completed our demo.
