Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer
Responsibilities
We are looking for a hands-on embedded systems developer to work on our core hardware monitoring and mesh networking platforms. We are looking for somebody who's not afraid to dig in and code hard, can grasp and drive a larger architectural vision and apply whatever tools make sense. You would be expected to eventually take control and responsibility for a critical set of systems, including architecture, design and operations.
This is a growth opportunity, with commensurate risks and rewards, infinite room to innovate and design and very little limit on where this position could lead.
Technical skills
- Embedded systems software development in C/C++
- Multiple embedded CPU platforms
- Real-time systems (strict timing requirements, interrupt-driven code, RTOS concepts)
- A/D systems and wireless communication systems
- Software development cycle management tools
- Embedded Linux experience a plus
Other requirements
- Solid, responsible designer with good communication skills
- Solid experience and track record in the embedded software space
- References and work samples

- Salary and overall compensation negotiable, commensurate with experience
- Position reports to the CTO
