Our dedicated and passionate Care Advocates are the main point of contract for our members. Their job is to help ensure that they have easy access to the best quality of healthcare available. The day-to-day responsibilities for a successful candidate include: interacting with members, researching and presenting members with healthcare solutions, and coordinating care through the SurgeryPlus network. The ideal candidate is articulate, competitive, empathetic, and compassionate. In addition, they are horizontal thinkers, analytical, and detail-oriented.
 
 
Key job responsibilities:
 
You will serve as a patient advocate by representing and consulting for the patient throughout their healthcare journey. Working in a team environment, you will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate health care options and services to meet each individual's needs. This will be done through provider research, high-quality care recommendations, financial benefits, scheduling, and pre/post procedure communications.
Successful Care Advocates always look to go the extra mile for their members when performing critical research and helping them navigate through stressful healthcare situations.
You will build professional relationships with employees of clients nationwide while providing insights and expertise to improve client relationships.
Strong performing Care Advocates will also have occasional opportunities to travel to meet member populations and client leadership in person across the country. 
 
 
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive base pay + discretionary bonus based on achieving key performance metrics (accuracy, patient education, etc.)

Qualifications:
Applicants must have received a Bachelors degree before date of hire
