Position: Material Planning Intern
Job Description:
Intern will have the opportunity to experience the Procurement and Planning functions of the Mary Kay Supply Chain and gain visibility that make a Supply Chain successful.
• Individual supply chain based project(s) that is to be completed by the end of the summer
• End of summer presentation to the entire team with Supply Planning and Inventory Control
• The opportunity to understand difference between commodities and how they are managed and planned for
• Attend staff and cross functional team meetings to gain perspective on topics discussed
Summer intern will continue the Material Planning Source map initiative started in the Summer of 2020 to map and visualize our supply chain and supply network.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
• High Level of attention to detail and strong critical skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Desire to learn and be highly engaged
• Flexibility and openness to change
DESIRED:
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel
• Exposure to ERP via college courses
