Spring 2021 DNC Internship

The Democratic National Committee is seeking enthusiastic, politically minded, future leaders for our internship program.

Now accepting applications for spring 2021. The program will run from February 1 to May 14, and will be conducted remotely due to the recent events surrounding COVID-19. The deadline for applications is November 27. The DNC Internship Program provides a $3,000 stipend. Housing is not provided.


All applications must be submitted through the green "apply externally" button. Applications submitted solely through Handshake will not be reviewed.

Interning at the DNC is a unique opportunity for hardworking, passionate future leaders to gain real life, hands-on experience in Democratic politics, strengthen their understanding of the political process, and prepare them for future political opportunities.

Internships are available within various departments. Each department offers you a unique learning experience—learn more about each department here.* In addition to typical intern duties you will have the opportunity volunteer in community outreach projects and grassroots organizing, assist at DNC functions, and network with DNC leadership and staff.
