Sports Director

Market leader looking for someone with a passion for local sports … Anchor weekday segments, come up with story ideas, plan logistics for “SportsZone” programs, maintain on-line coverage, manage two sports reporters/anchors, create relationships in sports community. Able to lead a sports team to the next level. A strong storyteller who can lead.

Must be organized in story planning, and adept at shooting and editing on a tight deadline. Good communicator both on the air and in the newsroom. Clean driving record is required.

College/university degree is preferred. At least two years’ experience in a commercial television newsroom is preferred.
