Benefits & HRIS Manager

Lake Shore Cryotronics, Inc., is a global leader in the development of high-performance tools for the characterization of materials in temperature and magnet environments. We have a need for a Benefits & HRIS Manager to contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of our business.

This position will work in our established Westerville, Ohio location. 

The position leads and facilitates the processes that provide benefits which support Lake Shore's financial and cultural objectives for our locations in both Westerville, Ohio and Woburn, Massachusetts.

The scope of this role includes researching, developing, implementing, administering, and educating employees on all company benefits, the HRIS, as well as total rewards programs and processes to support organizational goals. This role will also participate in wellness initiatives and continually engage employees in those efforts.

Some Responsibilities Include:
  • Managing all aspects of research, compliance, development, communication, and administration of employee benefit programs, including presentation of benefit plans to management and employees
  • Managing benefit, and 401(k) related, supplier relationships, services, data exchange, and payments
  • Developing, testing, and maintaining various components of the HRIS system
  • Design and track HR business metrics, reports, and employee lists
  • Analyze laws, regulations, and policies and contracts pertaining to human resources to ensure that the company is in compliance

Qualified candidates will possess the following:
  • A bachelor's degree in in Human Resources or related field
  • In-depth understanding of benefits administration and related skills in planning, organizing, controlling, and administering these at a management level
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, including development, testing, and implementation of programs/modules
  • A functional knowledge of computer systems, and government regulations.

Additional consideration will be given to those with:
  • A master's or post-graduate degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Professional HR certification(s): PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
  • Specialized certifications such as CEBS
  • Demonstrated ability to manage benefit and total reward programs
