Product Valuation Assistant
Do you have a strong aptitude for logic, math and detailed analysis? Modern Woodmen is looking for an Product Valuation Assistant to provide administrative support in Actuarial Services. Responsibilities include assisting with changes and corrections to the values of Modern Woodmen products, including analyzing and testing values and formulas for new and existing programs and systems. This position will also prepare quotes and illustrations of existing products upon request.
What would you do?
- Assist with auditing and correcting certificate rates and values for administrative and sales support systems.
- Assist in reviewing periodic error lists and making corrections to certificate values in limited product lines.
- Respond to inquiries concerning basic product values from members, Home Office employees and Field representatives.
- Prepare quotes and illustrations on values for Home Office departments and Field representatives for limited product lines.
- Assist in testing values, procedures and forms for new products and systems and changes to existing products and systems.
- Support solving a limited variety of problems for Home Office departments.
- Assist with administration of the Modern Woodmen’s reinsurance programs including: maintain accurate reinsurance records, calculate and pay reinsurance premiums, and provide basic reinsurance claim information to the Claim Department.
- Provide administrative assistance as requested for expense reimbursements, budget support and general department operations.

Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting or Computer Science preferred.
- Experience in the insurance industry or other financial operations preferred, but not required.
Starting salary based on experience.
