Associate Consultant Position

Vision
We are seeking a candidate who is interested in building a long-term career at Spirit Consulting and in management consulting. You will have the opportunity to partner daily with the CEO of Spirit Consulting and to develop as an executive recruiter, a client manager, and a full-fledged consultant and partner. Candidate will learn our book of business to rapidly expand his or her compensation and network. Progression begins by learning the field as an executive recruiter, then being introduced to and managing client relationships, and lastly being taught how to expand those relationships to upsell new projects at clients, as well as bring in new clientele. At this stage this person will have transitioned from an associate to a consultant. The ideal candidate will be extremely high energy with a matching intensity; always wanting to raise the bar on how quickly they can execute projects, the quality of service they provide, as well as their approach.

Compensation Range
      Associate Consultant
o   Base salary, year-end bonus, and benefit split
      Consultant
o   Draw Against Commission – Typically in the executive search industry draws commence at $100,000 and a commission split is established at 33%. For example, at $100,001 in revenue achieved by the consultant, the commission payout would be $0.33.

Experience/ Requirements
      Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or psychology required. The ideal candidate will have achieved excellence in their field of study demonstrated by a high GPA.
      A competitor with an internal desire to not lose.
      Self-starter, highly motivated, and strong follow-up skills.
      Must be able to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
      Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
      Skilled/proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Consulting with management, the Associate Consultant is responsible for growing our network of clients and developing client relationships into sales opportunities, as well as researching, recruiting, and presenting candidates for positions that Spirit Consulting is retained on. This professional will specifically be responsible for:
●       Contributing to the internal search strategy meetings by presenting ideal organizations and talent to target, drafting or updating the client’s role description, and tracking candidate and prospective client information in the company database.
●       Generating interest in the search pipeline by selling opportunities to prospective candidates or generating referrals, and networking for new retainer opportunities.
●       Interviewing, preparing and assessing candidates to establish qualifications and fit for clients, facilitating entire executive recruitment process.
●       Learning project management disciplines, in person and written communication techniques, conflict resolution, and other necessary business skills to transition to the next role as Consultant.
●       Grow client base by effectively presenting Spirit Consulting’s full range of services and learning company capacities within each industry.
o   Develop customized business solutions based on customer needs that effectively articulate and differentiate products value proposition from competitors, internal and external.
o   Build reliable, sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships with key client buying influences to create continual opportunities for business across our service lines.
●       Managing timeline and hiring expectations with clients across multiple positions and service areas by fulfilling roles the firm is retained on.
●       Contribute to the company’s thought leadership by regularly adding to the weekly blog.
●       Demonstrate strategic selling approach to identify, target and penetrate companies with needs appropriate to company's services and products.
●       Develop strategic business plan to maximize revenue from new clients by addressing the unique needs and opportunities of the assigned scope of responsibility.
●       Grow revenue of executive search divisions by strategically positioning services at all decision-making levels throughout the search process.
●       Build internal relationship with affiliate companies to maximize referral business and generate own book of business.
