MCU/MPU Validation Intern - Summer 2021
This is a summer internship position to work with NXP’s R&D talented engineers working on the field of SOC functional and analog validation. Selected candidate will join an engineering team that validates new high-performance micro-controllers for the automotive sector.
In this position you will be working closely with product, test and design engineers to create, test and evaluate the functionality and performance of microcontrollers.
Working under the direct supervision of a team lead or mentor your responsibilities may include:
- Design automation and/or enhance data collection tools.
- Execute validation test suites on Automotive Microcontroller at the system level.
- Help define coverage requirements and test methodologies for future NPIs.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be at a Junior, Senior or graduate level in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Minimal work experience required, however a familiarity with engineering methodologies, terminology and tools is helpful.
- The successful candidate must have a strong foundation in C/C++/C#, Perl; candidates with limited knowledge of these skills need not apply.
- LabView, HTML5 and SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
