Marketing Coordinator I

General Summary


The position is responsible for providing basic understanding and coordination of all facets of the marketing department –written, verbal and graphic design support for all corporate marketing and business development functions. The marketing coordinator will assist in the development of presentations, marketing material, graphics, social media and web content. This position will also support the company’s CRM database system; tracking and archiving of marketing-related information with SharePoint and other integrated systems.



Essential Job Accountabilities


1.    Assist in the development of original copy for marketing purposes, including: corporate brochures, web copy, press releases, electronic newsletters, advertising, social media, trade publications, journals/blogs, and presentations.
2.    Assist with original design concepts and graphic templates for marketing purposes, including: corporate brochures, advertising and presentations.
3.    Coordinate information, interview subject matter experts (SME’s) and conduct the research necessary to write and/or compile marketing-related information.
4.    Assist Business Development/Marketing, and Construction/Engineering Departments to develop compelling content for presentations, hand-outs and marketing material as it relates to the strategic end-market strategies.
5.    Enforce brand standards in all marketing, communications and graphics; educate and assist employees regarding brand standards and the application thereof.
6.    Organize the submittal process for industry achievements and awards to ensure alignment with and support of company's marketing strategic plan.
7.    Assist the CRM database administrator and marketing department with data entry, development of reports and pursuit data tracking processes.
8.    Contribute, audit and organize the company’s central repository for corporate text/boilerplate, project photography, job cards/project-one sheets, and marketing archives.
9.    Develop and prepare specific presentation and support material for national business development managers for industry/association presentations, or to enhance new project/client opportunities.
 


Education


·        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration or related field is required



Work Experience


·        1-6 years of job-related experience required in Marketing Dept., Communications/PR Agency environment 
·        Basic knowledge of CRM database systems a plus
·        Experience working in the A/E/C industry a plus



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


·        Proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and graphic design capabilities
·        Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·        Basic understanding of SharePoint, CRM and database experience a plus
·        Experience writing optimized content for websites and social media a plus
·        Experience in multi-media formats, including print, video, and digital platforms a plus
·        Attention to detail/accuracy, quick learner and internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
·        Ability to work in creative and structured, process-driven environments



Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
