PA Announcer Intern
Description of Responsibilities:
- Announce all 32 home games throughout the season, including playoffs (If necessary)
- Write game-day scripts that will feature sponsor recognition and promotions
- Brainstorm and implement new ways to make the fan experience entertaining
- Update the team website with series recaps
- Assist with player/mascot appearances throughout the community
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience announcing preferred but not required
- Must be a creative thinker with the ability to think of new, fun ways to enhance the production
- A general understanding of baseball is preferred
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills
