OATI Windows Systems Administration team is growing, and we’re looking for qualified candidates to fill mid-level through senior-level positions. OATI Windows Systems Administrators work with other members of the Information Technology department to support all aspects of the Systems Infrastructure. The Windows Systems Administrator will also support internal Development staff with installation, configuration, and support of OATI’s advanced Energy Industry applications. Candidates must be highly motivated, and will be required to respond to and provide resolutions to problems on a timely basis. This position involves the planning, configuring, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of a variety of network systems.

Qualifications/Requirements:
·        At least 5 years of experience and/or industry certifications/degree such as:
·        Microsoft-MCSA/MCSE
·        CompTIA- Server+/Cloud+
·        A.S./A.A.S in Information Technology, System Administration, Computer Science, or related
field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
·        24/7 availability as part of an on-call rotation
·        Valid U.S. Driver’s License
·        Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
·        Acceptable background investigation report
·        U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
·        Local to MN
Preferred Skills:
·        Windows Server – Advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
·        SQL Server – Installation and configuration
·        Windows Server/SQL Clustering
·        IIS – Installation and configuration of websites and FTP sites
·        Active Directory – User and group creation, GPO management
·        Scripting – Ability to write and deploy scripts for task automation and system administration
·        Virtualization – Creating and managing guests in a virtualized environment; ESXi experience
preferred
·        Hardware – Troubleshooting and repairing server hardware
·        Excellent troubleshooting abilities
Bonus Skills:
·        SAN – Storage administration and troubleshooting on EMC, 3PAR, and other vendors
·        Email – Management, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange
and message hygiene gateway products
·        Monitoring Systems – Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold and similar SNMP/WMI monitoring
·        Antivirus – Management and administration of an enterprise antivirus suite
