Summer Community Engagement Internship
The Community Engagement Intern will work with the Development Assistant and the Assistant Curator of Education, Community Outreach from May 18 - August 13, 2021, and will work between 10 and 15 hrs per week.
Required skills: research, creative thinking, analytical, and ability to multi-task.
Intern responsibilities: research community issues, assist in the planning of adult programming, manage correspondence to and from our Junior Executive Board, and organize adult programming documents.
Learning objectives:
- Gain an understanding of how museums are central to their communities through adult programming
- Participate in data collection and evaluation
- Gain experience in DEAI (diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion) work
- Develop relationship-building skills
