Camp Health Officer

Camp Walden is hiring Camp Health Officer for its 2022 season.

Camp Health Officers (CHO) work in the infirmary directly with the camp Doctors who rotate through on a weekly basis. The CHO duties will include the following:

*Help to organize and dispense camper medication.

* Assist with the camper medical database including camper and staff medical forms.

*Assist the Dr. on duty during morning and evening sick call.

* Staff the infirmary on an “on call” basis.

*Perform routine first aid for campers.

*Speak with camper parents about medical concerns.

*Complete online incident reports.

*Take campers to the ER for x-rays as needed.

Candidates must be CPR trained and must complete an online training on blood borne pathogens.
