Sales Intern

Sales Internship

NaviSavi is a short-form video app for travel. From an interactive feed, users can explore destinations, plan itineraries, and book their next trip all in one place. All clips are verified, unedited, and submitted by real people to offer an authentic experience.

The Sales Intern will assist in the development and application of business sales strategies, and meet with potential clients to market and sell services offered by NaviSavi. We’re looking for personable candidates with a passion for travel and technology, who are proactive and self-driven to meet sales objectives as outlined by the company. This role will have a chance to work directly with our CEO and industry professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Introduce, develop, and apply new sales strategies.
  • Research market landscape and competitors to improve sales strategies.
  • Draft and edit sales pitches and brand decks in collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Attend pitch meetings, trade shows, travel events, and conferences on behalf of NaviSavi.
  • Provide support and guidance for daily operations across all NaviSavi teams.
  • Build genuine relationships with clients, influencers, and businesses.

Qualifications:
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of major business principles, terminology, and strategies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A passion for discovery; interest in the travel and tourism industry
  • Team player; can multitask and adapt to the needs of a startup company
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and performs well independently

Objectives:
  • Market and sell services to potential business clients as the face of a growing travel brand.
  • Meet and work with business professionals to expand your network in the travel industry.
  • Provide experience in preparation for a career in sales, marketing, advertising, etc.

Other details:
  • Internship Dates: Starting immediately - 05/15/2021, with a possibility of rolling into the summer of 2021.
  • Must be available to commit 10-20 hours per week.
  • Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Course credit available for students.
