Business Development Representative

At DealerBuilt, we empower people to achieve their unique ambitions. To help us accomplish our current company-wide objective of Building a Full Consumer Experience DMS, we are currently searching for a Business Development Representative to join our Marketing Team.
 
The BDR Team reports to Vice President of Marketing, The BDR will work closely with Sales and Marketing representatives to find opportunities, research their businesses thoroughly, contact key buyer personas through email, phone and LinkedIn, introduce the value proposition to decision makers, and ultimately, set up qualified meetings and product demonstrations.

Here’s what you will do:
 
  • Research, engage, and qualify dealer prospects whose needs align with the value proposition of our software solutions
  • Reach a target set of prospects via email and cold calls, establish rapport, and schedule meetings with key buyer personas for Sales
  • Contact top of funnel leads from marketing campaigns, qualify prospects, and document results in CRM
  • Update lead and contact details in Salesforce with detailed, timely feedback
  • Field incoming inquiries through our Sales Hotline and other inbound marketing channels
  • Stay up to date with new products and services offerings and current pricing structures
 
BDR Requirements:
  •  1- 2 years of experience in a Business Development Representative or similar role in a technology company
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls, emails, and social media
  • Track record of achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Solid experience with CRM software (g., Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
