Job Description – Summer Interns: Supply Chain, Operations

We are hiring both Supply Chain Interns and Operations Interns that will be positioned in either our Filtration Group Corporate office in Oak Brook, IL or our Filtran business unit Des Plaines, IL. The Interns will work directly with senior level executives and a team of global colleagues to help us achieve our mission of Making the World Safer, Healthier, and More Productive.

Working for the Supply Chain and Operations teams will expose you to a variety of operational functions, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, inventory management, strategic planning, business analytics, supplier relations, and more. Over the course of the summer, the interns will manage a project and present final recommendations to high level executives in the organization. The summer interns’ projects are dependent on real time business needs and will provide measurable experience in both a corporate business and a manufacturing/operations environment. In addition to the project, the interns will support the day-to-day functions of the team in the US as well as in Europe.
