Analyst - Inventory Management

As an Inventory Planner at Heyday, you’ll own different aspects of the supply chain for our partner brands. Your responsibilities will include inventory planning, working with 3PL partners on inventory replenishment, and optimizing the supply chain through continuous improvement. You will enjoy this role if you are organized, want to manage and own an end-to-end supply chain, are excited to identify and execute initiatives to improve operational efficiency, and want to develop new tools that will help scale our operations. In this role, you will work with brand managers to plan for new product launches and advertising campaigns that drive sales growth. This role will also take you to different parts of the US and the world where you’ll get a chance to meet with the entrepreneurs and manufacturers that we partner with. As a founding member of the supply chain and operations team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the way we organize and operate the team.

What you’ll do
  • Design and develop inventory reports to track and maintain optimal inventory levels based on projected demand.
  • Place purchase orders for our brands and perform frequent check-ins with our manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Investigate and communicate risks that impact out of stocks, product quality, or lead to unsatisfactory customer experience.
  • Test tools available in the market that help us execute different aspects of managing a supply chain.
  • Work with Brand Management to build projected demand models for our brands based on upcoming marketing campaigns.
  • Track excess inventory at marketplace warehouses and at our 3PL partners and act early to mitigate the risk of obsolescence.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for repeatable tasks and document your work.
  • Own inventory reconciliation process and ensure purchase orders match three-ways working with our accounting team.
