Interns working within our technology space, whether in DISH, SLING or Wireless, will evaluate current practices and play tangible parts in our business strategy. The scope of your work will be defined by the opportunities you create for yourself. Your potential duties could include working on an internal employee tool, internally developed app or even a product that millions of customers use. You might design a new dashboard for easier data consumption or a system for process improvement.

Embedded Engineering (Engineer I - Embedded)

Join the team that will be working on our newest Android TV development project this Summer! We have a robust bench of Embedded Engineers and are excited to continue growing this skill set in our Software Engineering organization. Here you will have the opportunity to put your Java knowledge to the test on our award winning television products. With our Hardware team in house as well, this is a great opportunity to gain experience truly working collaboratively across functions.

DevOps/Test Automation (Engineer I - Software Test)

Here at DISH we continue to prioritize the automation of work in the pursuit of making our best in class team more efficient every day. If you want to be on the front lines of automating our Software Testing processes and using your CI/DC skills this is the team for you! Every day we are critically looking at how we can take manual processes and incorporate automation in pursuit of delivering best in class tv entertainment to our consumers.

Data Science/Computer Science (Data Scientist I)

Join our growing team that is using data driven insights to continuously improve the DISH customer experience! Every day we look to find new ways to leverage data to drive smarter decision making. If you have a passion for tying numbers into the way we look at, and improve on, our work this is the team for you!

Product, DISH and Sling

Product Manager: Become the expert in determining what the right products and functionality are for our users and for the business. You’ll spend your time analyzing user data, identifying business opportunities, and collaborating with design and engineering to bring it all to life.

Product Designer: Leverage your entire designer’s toolkit to solve important problems for real people. You’ll work alongside Product Managers and Engineers to integrate the needs of people, the possibilities of technology, and the requirements for business success into world-class products and features.

UX Researcher: The UX Research Intern uses research methods to understand motivations and behaviors of our users. This person analyzes feedback and works directly with Software Engineers, Product Managers and Designers. The ability to understand users, competition and the market are key to success. You will assist in primary and secondary research, which may include usability testing and competitive analysis

Software Engineering (Engineer I - Software)
We are the makers of Sling TV, the industry-leading OTT (over-the-top) video streaming service that delivers live U.S. and international programming, as well as video on demand. We are seeking Software Engineers to join our team. This position is all about getting the best video to the device as quickly as possible. It is one of our most technically challenging projects. What we’re building is revolutionary!

Skills, Experience and Requirements 
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree (non-MBA) program with an expected graduation date between December 2021 and August 2022.
